Welcome to Carissa’s Blog!
Today marks the first day of me entering the blogging world. I hope that this will only mark the beginning of your visits.
From this point forward, I am going to try to document various adventures in the kitchen.
The main reason for starting this blog is that I have been asked to make three wedding cakes. Well two cakes, and then 300-400 cupcakes for another wedding. How many wedding cakes have I previously perfected? ZERO! Slightly intimidating. However, I digress. I could not say no. As the first wedding cake is for my brother and FSIL, the second is for my Sister and PBIL, and the cupcakes are for a dear friend who is DJing my wedding next year.
Of recent, I have baked a pregnant belly baby shower cake (pictures to come), vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting, oatmeal chocolate chip coffee cake, coconut chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies with a glaze and oh so much more. I promise to upload as many photos as possible. However, please keep in mind: I am not a professional photographer and I do not have a fancy, expensive camera.
